Description

 

Seema Gururaj is an award-winning social entrepreneur whose Social Impact Portfolio
includes significant contributions in the areas of Gender Equity, Urbanization and
Education. She is currently the Founder & CEO of Square Circle, a startup that helps
global organizations redesign Belonging in their workplace.

Prior to founding Square Circle, Seema reported into the office of the CTO at Intuit
where she designed gender equity strategies, provided thought leadership, and
influenced organizational change to empower their women. Previously, she was at
the Anita Borg Institute, where she was the Director of the largest conference for
women technologists in the world, the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in
Computing (GHC). Her advocacy & leadership propelled diverse community leaders to
the highest ranks of conference leadership and made this high visibility stage accessible
to all. She also served as a steering committee member of a think tank, Think India, that
focused on urbanization issues in India alongside India’s former minister of
Disinvestment, Communications and IT and former Foreign Secretary of India.

Seema has been featured as a thought leader on TV, podcasts, publications and as a
speaker at various organizations. She has received multiple awards for her leadership
and contributions. She is the co-author of a recently published book titled “Amplify!
Expert insights on growing your presence, influence and recognition in the tech
industry” now available on Amazon.com
