FLASHDASH is a photo scavenger hunt that integrates community landmarks, social media and team-oriented adventure. Teams of up to 4 adults (21 and over) work together to solve clues, drive to the correct location, photograph the answers and post to social media using the event specific hashtag. 


  • Solve Clues: You'll use your local savvy, smartphones and maybe even the kindness of strangers to solve clues. Clues can be based on local trivia, locations or actions (think: build a human pyramid!). Earn points by solving as many clues as you can in the 2 hour time limit. 
  • Explore Your City: Hop in the car with your team and drive to the correct location. Smartphone mapping apps are allowed but maybe one of your teammates knows a secret shortcut! You'll begin the hunt at the event venue and explore one or more peninsula cities.  
  • Post To Social Media: Take a photo of some or all of your team with the correct answer or doing the required actionEach team will need at least one member with either a Twitter or Instagram account to post photos of the solved clues using the event hashtag. 
  • Party: Now that you've finished, it's time to unwind with your teammates with a cold one, share your photos and laugher and relive great memories from the day. Tickets to the after-party can be purchased separately for those who are unable to attend the scavenger hunt but would still like to have some fun! FLASHDASH participants automatically receive a ticket to the after-party.
