Legacy Leaders
What is a Legacy Leader? In 2000, the JLPA•MP Endowment Fund Board established the Legacy Circle – a group of individuals and families who have made a planned gift to the Endowment Fund. There are now 56 Legacy Leaders, both Active and Sustaining members. What impact does my gift have?Planned giving supports the JLPA•MP Endowment Fund. Since 1994, the Endowment Fund has contributed $1.4 million to the League’s general fund to support community programs, grants and training effective volunteers to work and lead in our community. Gifts to the Endowment Fund are a wonderful way to ensure future generations of women will benefit from the training the League offers and our community will benefit from their work.
I decided to become a Legacy Leader to invest in the generations of women that come after me. I hope that they too can benefit from professional training opportunities and maybe even be lucky enough to make lifelong friends along the way like I have. — Shannon When I was creating my family estate plan, it was important to me to recognize the value of the League and the significance it has played in my life. Leaving a legacy gift to JLPA•MP Endowment Fund is my way of paying it forward to future members and their valuable experiences. — Noelle
