Project Mindfulness

A Junior League of Palo Alto•Mid Peninsula Project
Funded by a grant from the City of Menlo Park

Project Mindfulness is dedicated to nurturing positive mental health among elementary-aged students in our community. Our distributions offer carefully curated kits filled with social-emotional learning materials and nutritious snacks.

Together, we’re broadening access to essential resources and fostering a supportive environment for our youth. This project furthers the JLPA•MP focus area/goal of improving the wellbeing of our community through programs and community partnerships that address the impacts of systemic poverty on the physical and mental health of individuals and families, including the lack of sufficient housing, food, and provisions.

Project Mindfulness kits will be provided to the Menlo Park City School District for 2024-2025 school year to distribute to students who would most benefit from the materials, through school counselors.

The kit themes are:

  • Intro to Mindfulness & Power of Affirmations
  • Mindfully Creative
  • Mindfully Unplugged + The Power of Building
  • Mindfully Active + Ready for Summer

Let us know how you liked your kit HERE.
